Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine and Donegal T.D., Charlie McConalogue, met with the Letterkenny University Hospital based ambulance service during Minister for Health, Stephen Donnelly’s visit to Donegal last Friday.
The Minister for Health was visiting the base to meet with the staff and to commend the first responders to the Creeslough tragedy.
Commenting on the meeting, Minister McConalogue said “All of the staff of the Donegal ambulance service are heroes and they provide an immeasurable service to the people of Donegal and our communities. I particularly thank them and commend them for their courageous work during the Creeslough tragedy.”
