Before embarking on his US Trade Mission last week, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine and Donegal T.D., Charlie McConalogue, invited the US Ambassador to Ireland, Claire Cronin, to Agriculture House to discuss shared matters of interest including the Minister’s trade mission to the US.
Commenting on the meeting, the Minister said “In Ambassador Cronin, we have a real ally and someone with a deep passion and interest in Ireland and especially in Donegal. Ambassador Cronin has family from Inishowen and I really look forward to her visit to Donegal in May and to introducing her to people and businesses in Donegal”.
